what to expect during treatment
The process is quick and nearly painless. We use ice for natural numbing, and most clients are in and out in 15–20 minutes. You might notice slight redness or tiny bumps at injection sites, but these fade within an hour. Bruising is rare but possible.

14 Days Before:
Avoid blood thinners like Advil, Ibuprofen, Aleve, Aspirin, Motrin, Vitamin E, fish oil, and St. John's Wort. These can increase bruising. (If you're on prescription blood thinners, don't stop—just let us know at your appointment.)
24 Hours Before:
Skip the wine. Alcohol increases your chances of bruising.
Timing Your Appointment:
Book at least 4 weeks before any big events (weddings, vacations, reunions). Results take up to 2 weeks to fully develop, and we'll want to see you for a follow-up around day 14 if any tweaks are needed.
You're Not a Candidate If:
- You're pregnant or breastfeeding
- You have an egg allergy
- You have a history of ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease), myasthenia gravis, or other neuromuscular disorders
- You have an active skin infection in the treatment area
- You've experienced muscle weakness, blurred vision, or drooping eyelids from previous tox treatments

For 24 Hours:
- Skip the gym. No cardio, yoga, heavy lifting, or hot yoga.
- Avoid makeup on treated areas if possible.
For 10 Days:
- No facial massages, gua sha, Clarisonic brushes, or firm pressure on treated areas.
- Skip facials, steam rooms, saunas, and tanning beds.
If You Bruise: Ice the area gently. Bruising is uncommon but can happen—it'll fade in a few days.
Results Timeline: You'll start seeing changes around day 3–5, with full results visible by day 14. At the 2 week mark we do a follow up appointment with you to ensure you are happy with the results or if any tweaking needs to happen.
