PRE & POst op
Avoid blood thinners like Advil, Ibuprofen, Aleve, Aspirin, Motrin, Vitamin E, fish oil, and St. John's Wort to minimize bruising. (If you're on prescription blood thinners, check with Becca first.)
48 Hours Before:
- Skip alcohol (increases bruising)
- Stay well-hydrated (makes blood draw easier and improves PRF quality)
Day Of:
- Eat a light meal before your appointment (helps prevent lightheadedness during blood draw)
- Arrive with clean skin (no makeup on treatment areas)
You're Not a Candidate If:
- You're pregnant or breastfeeding
- You have an active skin infection in the treatment area
- You have a blood disorder or clotting condition
- You're currently on chemotherapy or immunosuppressive therapy
- You have severe anemia (we may need to check labs first)

- Expect redness and mild swelling at injection sites (this is normal and fades within 24-48 hours)
- You may see small bumps under the skin where PRF/EZ Gel was placed—these smooth out as the product integrates
For 24 Hours:
- Stay upright for 4-6 hours (no lying down or bending over)
- Skip the gym—no cardio, yoga, heavy lifting, or hot yoga
- Avoid makeup on treated areas if possible
- Ice gently if needed (10 minutes on, 10 minutes off)
For 1 Week:
- No facial massages, gua sha, Clarisonic brushes, or firm pressure on treated areas
- Skip facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and laser treatments
- Avoid saunas, steam rooms, and tanning beds
- No swimming pools (chlorine can irritate healing skin)
For 2 Weeks:
- Avoid dental work if possible (pressure can affect under-eye or lip treatments)
If You Bruise: Ice gently and consider arnica gel. Bruising is more common with PRF/EZ Gel than synthetic fillers (because we're working with your own blood) but fades within 7-10 days.
Results Timeline:
Don't judge results in the first week. PRF and EZ Gel take time to work. You'll see gradual improvement starting around week 2-3, with peak results at 3-6 months.
Follow-Up:
Most clients benefit from 2-3 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart. We'll create a treatment plan based on your goals and progress.
